A wire guard (cable thimble) in gold filled 14K with a 0.8mm hole. Beading wire runs through the curved tube before you crimp it, so the loop at the clasp keeps its shape and does not wear through. Made by JBB Findings in Tel Aviv, Israel since 1948.
